Change Your Filters

Any HVAC system loves a new air filter. You should be switching yours out every four to six months. Your HVAC system will not only perform better, but you will see lower energy bills. When units are blocked by clogged filters, they have to work overtime to bring heated and cooled air to you. Not only that, but you are also limiting the lifetime of your system in general.

Clean Your Vents

Cleaning your vents is super easy. Just simple screw off your vents and return the registers and wash them down with a damp cloth. If you have a vacuum with a nozzle attachment you can use it to clear out the edges of each grille opening. This will improve your air quality in minutes.

Clean Your House

If your home is dusty or cluttered with pet hair, your unit won’t stay very clean for long. Dust, pollen, pet hair, and other allergens can get blow and distributed around your home by your heat system. The cleaner that you keep your house, the better off your system will be!
