FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: Helping others has always been something I have embraced. When you do what I did for 45 years you share in the good times and the bad. You see people grow and you see some fail. You see people live and sometimes you see people die. Though it all, growing this business and seeing where it is headed is quite exciting times for me. Lucas has taken my instruction and guidance and expanded on it to create what I feel is the best home service company in south Louisiana. To watch his team and how they react to one another is simply put, one of the coolest things I have experienced. Knowing I played a role in it means the world to me and seeing him continue our process into the future gives me the confidence that my legacy will remain long after I am gone! This team is your best option and hopefully you will allow us to earn your business!
FAMILY: Married to my wife Bette since 1975, Sons Jim and Steve, daughter Heather, too many grandchildren and great grandchildren to count.

WORDS FROM LUCAS: I started with Brigham in 1996 and little did I know it would lead us here. He gave me an opportunity to learn a trade. 10 years later he allowed me to bring our services to New Orleans after Katrina. I always said to our clients that I loved working for Brigham because even though we were family, he treated us all as if we were family. That is the reason Family plays such a major role in our company. He instilled it in us and we are proud to continue it into the future. While technically we are cousins, in Sicilian culture, your older cousins are Uncles in our way of life. Brigham is more like a second father to me than anything. He is always there for me. Offering advice, assurance and allowing me to fail and not holding me in contempt because of those failures. Now, he gets to be my consiglieri and better than that, he is my biggest fan! I love you Brigham! Without you and your heart, NONE OF THIS HAPPENS!!

WORDS FROM LUCAS ABOUT OUR TEAM: I hope this page shows you a little bit about who we are. Yes, only so many words and pictures can show you about how we conduct ourselves but I can assure you we are constantly training on how we can better serve our clients. When we fail and from time to time we do, it is my job to ensure we correct the path as quickly as possible so that it does not happen again. So we train when we have issues so that everyone knows what I expect us to be. I demand a perfect effort at perfection but I demand that we are ELITE in our process!
The best part of what I see in these Bios is the fact that they recognize this staff as a team. And yes, I do preach it continuously but it is only because it's the only way I can see it. We cannot produce the results we have produced year after year and decade after decade without each other. I am happy to say this is the best team I have been associated with. And it is one of the honors of my life to lead this organization into the future. We can only hope that because you are reading this, we will earn the opportunity to prove to you that you made the right decision to have us in your homes and businesses!

WORDS FROM LUCAS: LB as we call him has a gift. People love him because of his “CAN DO” attitude and willingness to find a solution to any problem. Labrian has been with me going on 10 years and in that time I have seen him grow from a helper to an installer and now into one hell of a service tech. I kinda helped raise him in this trade and it gives me a tremendous sense of pride seeing him grow and prosper in this company. I am as proud of him as he is of our company because he gives it 110%. I couldn’t ask for a better person to represent this company!

WORDS FROM LUCAS: Randy is one of my many AC mentors. In 1996, Randy began a long journey of working with a scrawny young kid and showing me how to be good at our craft. Under Randy's tutelage my first couple of years, he gave ownership the confidence in me to let me set sail on my own and work commercial sheet metal installs on my own. He also stood in my wedding in 2001. To say I wouldn't be in the position I am in without him is an understatement. It is my honor for him to be the General Manager of our Baton Rouge location and I look forward to finishing our careers together!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: Collaboration with my colleagues although my primary role with Total Maintenance is accounting. I love to assist our clients by exceeding their expectations when the opportunity arises.
FAMILY: Daughter Christina and the absolute love of my life, my grandson Hunter!
HOBBIES: Expedition travel, fishing, photography, biking, fitness, music, cooking, jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
WORDS FROM LUCAS: If I have a drill instructor, this diminutive lady is it! She is ALL BUSINESS when it comes to proper procedure concerning money in our company. And it's not just my money but oftentime our clients. Melissa is very direct but also one of the sweatiest team members I have. It helps to have a team you can trust and she is one of my valued confidants!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: I love that I am often the first contact someone has with our company. Uncle Luke says I "set the tone" for our clients' experience. Luckily for me the team takes care of all the heavy lifting and always does so with a willingness and care I have not seen in past organizations. Lucas has a way of connecting with us to help share his vision and shows us how to E.L.E.! EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY! lol It's funny but it's true! We spend so much of our lives away from our families that one can only hope to have the connection and love for one another that we have here. I am so excited to be part of this family and part of his team!

WORDS FROM LUCAS: Amanda is my Niece though she is more like my little sister. We share the same whittiness and we both can be quick to tell you how we feel if you cross a line. That being said, she is one of the hardest workers I have and is ALWAYS going to have my back. Great communicator and great with our technicians. Have you ever tried to make 1 man happy? Well try to make 14 when they are hot and crawling around in 140 degree attics. It isn't easy but she does it. She takes direction very well and also will offer a difference of opinion which I value. She will be with me for the remainder and as we build our future together and her roles change, I cannot wait to see where we go!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: I'm the newest member to the team but Lucas is my brother-in-law and we have known each other going on 30 years. So far, I am quite impressed with the staff and how welcoming they have been. I have a lot to learn, and I am excited to be part of this team!

Well, plans changed and when the opportunity to bring her on happened sooner, I had to make the move and bring her in now. I couldn't risk her finding a home somewhere else. What I know about Kelli is that she is loyal to a fault. She is funny, smart and has a wonderful personality. She loves with all of her heart and is truly one of the things I love about her the most! From the first time I met Lucas 9 years ago, I could tell he was different. He was not going to be just an AC Guy but the New Orleans PREMIER AC service provider, PERIOD. The way he conducts business is the way you want someone to treat you! I love him like a brother and you will love his team too. Fair and Honest LUCAS and the BOYS at River City’s Total Maintenance!!

WORDS FROM LUCAS: When you bang around an attic with each other or run 200 ft of square duct in a day, you get to know who you're dealing with. Slim is all go. He is a complete AC man, as most of us are, you understand what an installer goes through to know how to handle situations as a service technician. He has developed into a complete technician whom I know iI can trust as if my own eyes were looking at it. Always professional and willing to go the extra mile for our clients sums him up. WORDS FROM LUCAS: Yep, as the name implies, He is my son. And while everyone may expect I'll be biased here, I won’t. I don't have to. Our team sees it and I see it as well, even as young as he is he is a great leader. An outstanding football player whose senior year was tarnished by Covid, he has been resilient, caring, and diligent all his life. Getting to Coach him when he was a child, I knew the type of young man he was because he would always get it the worst as I frequently had to use him as the example. After all, if the coach's son can get it, so can they. He never resented me for it. He knew even at a young age I was working with them, through him. It's a bit different now because he is all man and could probably beat me up. LOL. He knows what to expect. Even though he is young he is already a NATE certified technician. One thing you can be certain of, this third-generation mechanic is not leaving until you are cooling again. I look forward to watching him grow in our business.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: Being able to provide clients with fast service that will always remain quality. Although I find problems others overlook and are sometimes expensive to correct, my clients quickly understand I am only out to do the best job possible. Once they see how different we all are at Total Maintenance, the reservations they have quickly dissipate. Potential clients please take this from someone who knows. As you can see, I am on my 3rd stint here. I started with Lucas in 2006 when he was just getting going in NOLA. I left for greener pastures in 2010. I came back in 2012 and left again in 2016, again for promises that were not kept. I can say this and I hope you hear me, Do not pass this company up or take for granted what they provide. I thought others were as good or better even. They are top notch and I am glad to finally be home!! I won't be leaving again!!
FAMILY: Huge family most still live in ST. Bernard parish. But the loves of my life are my 3 children.
HOBBIES: Fishing, hunting, boating, shooting, UFC/MMA, powerlifting, lawn and garden.

WORDS FROM LUCAS: Michael Miranda! Well, our story starts in 2006 when I was just getting going in NOLA and I needed a tech. This guy shows up with a 6-month-old in a car seat. Needless to say, I couldn't figure out if it was a ploy or not because either he was playing a card or just simply had to bring his son because he didn't have a choice. I went with the latter. Mike is an exceptional technician who like all my techs got his start installing. In the early days he and I caught calls and did installs together so I was always confident in his abilities. As he stated he left to start his own company and when that didn't work, he moved on to another company. Then he came back and then a couple years later left again. Now he is home, and we couldn't be happier. Well-rounded technician who went on to work on larger commercial applications for a while. It helps knowing my team can do what others can't.

WORDS FROM LUCAS: Phil will give you the shirt off of his back! His clients always come first and he is quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. On top of that he has worked on about every piece of refrigeration equipment on the planet. I call him when something is difficult and he has always come through for me. He has also won Peoples Choice in Kenner for best tasting crawfish a few years in a row! A man of many talents, we are lucky to have him on our team.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: I enjoy delivering on what I promise. I like finding solutions that others have not thought of. And I believe in quality. First and foremost the most important day of a system's life is the day it is installed and we go OVER and ABOVE what it takes to ensure we do our job so that you have many, many years of quality indoor comfort. The pride we all have in a job well done is the reason people use us!

I love the fact that WE all care so much for our clients well being and it shows in our performance. WORDS FROM LUCAS: Josh is another one I have helped raise. He previously worked for me and went off to Indianapolis for about 5 years. When he returned home to NOLA I was more than happy to bring him back on full throttle. In his time away he picked up the parts of the trade he was missing and like all really good AC men, learned from the install side of things first and is now applying his gift to the service end of things. A great communicator, I look forward to many years working alongside him!

WORDS FROM LUCAS: If we voted in the company for the person to most likely be able to dunk a basketball he would win hands down. He is an imposing-looking man standing about 6 foot 6 with a wingspan that has to be close to 10ft. Huge guy with a huge heart. He is someone who doesn’t need a ladder much but he is not afraid to get dirty and get the job done. That ally I was talking about, if I bring him whomever is in it will remain very, very quiet!

A good communicator, Tim is someone I know will tell me the good or the bad about a situation. It is nice to have so many well rounded guys pulling the same direction and Tim is most definitely one of those guys!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: I enjoy the problem solving aspect of our work. Sometimes I feel Detective like in the process. I get to work in some pretty cool places, though cool shouldn't be used to describe a 140 degree attic. I enjoy seeing new things. My favorite part though has to do with working with this team. I was raised around this company as my father Don worked with my Uncle Brigham who founded the company for 40 years. This is my home and we are all family. WORDS FROM LUCAS: You ever seen the movie Spiderman? Well if you ever wanted to meet him, he works here! This guy is AMAZING! I once watched him crawl into a trunk line to fix it DIE HARD style! When he was finished I gave him a hug because finding a guy that can do something no one else can is rare today. A self starter, if you are waiting on him he is already done. Another one of my GUT MEN he will go the distance to make sure the job is done right! Attitude second to none, when it comes down to the nitty gritty, he is the first in!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: I enjoy working with my hands and fixing something that is broken. The satisfaction of seeing the relief on the client's face when I get the air on brings me great enjoyment. I love learning new things and look forward to what we are building here at Total Maintenance

WORDS FROM LUCAS: Courtland is a wonderful young man who I see a great deal of potential in. Still learning but eager to get to the top of this trade the right way. He listens, takes advice and is always applying what he is taught from the second he is shown. I'm looking forward to watching him prosper as he has all of the technical ability I look for as well as being a great communicator. He has a service technician written all over him and I look forward to showing him how to get where he wants to go.

WORDS FROM LUCAS: I have to be honest here. I didn't think David was going to be a long term solution for us. Matter of fact, we almost let him go once. That being said, from that conversation forward, he has truly impressed us all. Most times when you have a meeting to discuss someone's work, it's not long after they go looking for greener pastures. Not David. It's like when that happened he did a 180 and started gaining our trust. As he could do more, we trusted more. And now, I know he will do whatever is necessary to make sure we know and more importantly our clients know just how much he cares. He frequently will stay on the job to get air in someone's house until way after 10. I make sure I tell his wife please dont be mad at him. Sometimes the job requires extra effort for our clients. He is willing and has proven to me, he is one I can absolutely count on and I look forward to watching his career progress. It also taught me to keep working with guys because every now and then one turns from coal into a diamond right in front of your eyes!

WORDS FROM LUCAS: Justin is an artist. I have been in the business for a long time. I have seen some of the best do this trade. I have not seen anyone do it better and that is a FACT! From start to finish this guy can flat out roll. His vision on a job is in a class by himself. He is able to see the service side of things as well as having a knack for getting the job done on time and on budget. He makes us so much better by having him on board and he has an unbelievable work ethic. He is THAT GUY on the team you were a part of that makes everyone better! He is my ACE!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: Being a part of this team. I am young but you can tell when you come to work here how different this place is. What Mr. Lucas and our staff do for us is hard to describe in words but I'll try. Everyone cares about one another. In other places I have worked it all about what the boss can get from you every day. While I know performance matters, I truly believe what we can get together is what makes this place so special. Mr. Lucas told me when he hired me that he was not looking for someone for a job. He wanted me to have a career. I am so excited for my future here at Total Maintenance!

WORDS FROM LUCAS: Every now and then I meet someone that reminds me of myself. And I found this in William. Will, from the first time I shook his hand, I knew, we were cut from the same cloth. He is diligent in proving to me he is worthy of my efforts to help him excel in this trade. A quick learner and a wonderful communicator, Will is cutting his teeth in the hardest part of our business as an installer and that will insure that at some point in the not so distant future, he will be part of the next class of technicians we produce. I cannot stress this enough, this young man gives me faith in the following generation to come. Proud he is one of ours and look forward to assisting his growth! He already has the Will to work, pun intended!

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: The crew I get to work with feels like family. We all say it but it's because we mean it. Uncle Luke, while not by blood, has been here for my family almost as long as I have been alive. I don't know if I remember a time when I don't remember my Dad speaking about how different he was. And now, because I am part of his team I see why my Dad thinks of him the way he does. Like his brother! When one of us is down, the other pics us up. TEAM is what this entire staff is about!
FAMILY: Single, 7 Brothers, 1 sister.
HOBBIES: Reading books, Video games, Playing basketball, Going to church.

WORDS FROM LUCAS: This is LaBrain's son. A bit quiet at times but a pure heart of gold. Hard worker and trustworthy. My nephew will graduate from trade school in HVAC very soon but he is already way, way ahead of his peers because he is 10 toes deep everyday working to get better in this trade. Another technician of the future, he is doing the hard work now while he is young and will progress into larger roles as we move forward! Very excited for this young man's future!

An imposing figure standing at approximately 6'4", this gentle giant, although new to our team , is one great addition to the franchize. Personable, funny, witty and smarter than even I think he gives himself credit for, this guy understands servicing our clients. FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB: The people I work with. My manager Justin is the best installer I have ever seen and an even better person. Because he knows the environment we work in he does everything in our power including getting in the attics himself to help out, I truly want to make him proud. This place, these people, they are my unit! They are my family and I am happy to be a part of this team.
